Lee, who works in the Powertrain Quality Office, was never placed lower than second in the 15-race series. He even took his faithful Ford (pictured left) overseas and won twice in France at Croix en Ternois. That's not the longest journey away from home, however, the series includes a round on Anglesey.

His team-mate of five seasons and Dunton colleague Alan Duly, a guaging engineer, was campaigning the older Fiesta XR2 that Lee used to win the 2001 championship. Work commitments for Ford in South Africa, however, cut short Alan's racing to just two events this year.
