Scott receives financial backing from Ergo Mechanical Services, specialists in climate control systems, and Abacus Auto Spares of Reede Road, Dagenham, who supply him with parts.

He added: "It's great help as I work to a tight budget. It's an economical way to keep the engine running as you have to run standard production engines in my class." Scott will next be in action at Brands Hatch in August.
